We have created a dynamic program that immerses your team in Madrid’s sporting culture and rich city life. On the field, your team will start with a training session led by their own coaches at a local hockey facility, followed by two friendly evening matches against Spanish opposition. This gives the players an excellent opportunity to test themselves against a different playing style and gain valuable international experience.

Day 1 – Arrival & training session

• Morning: after meeting with your tour manager at Madrid Airport, the group will be transferred to a comfortable hotel in the greater Madrid area. The hotel is conveniently located for access to local hockey facilities and provides an ideal base for the tour.

• Afternoon: once checked in and settled, the players will have a training session under the lead of their own coaches at a local hockey venue. This first session focuses on getting used to the Spanish turf conditions, loosening up after travel, and preparing for the upcoming fixtures.

• Evening: relaxed team dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant, followed by some free time to unwind and recover from the journey.

Day 2 – SIGHTSEEING MADRID & FRIENDLY MATCH 1

• Morning: after breakfast, the group will travel into central Madrid for a guided sightseeing tour. Key highlights can include Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace surroundings and the historic quarters, giving the group a good first impression of the city’s culture and atmosphere.

• Afternoon: the sightseeing program continues with visits to other iconic areas such as Gran Vía and Parque del Retiro. There will be time for photos, a drink or snack on one of the terraces, and some relaxed exploration before heading back to the accommodation to prepare for the evening match.

• Evening: in the late afternoon or evening, the team will play their first friendly match against a local Madrid hockey club. This game offers a first taste of Spanish hockey intensity and provides valuable experience against a different playing style. After the match there is time for a short joint drink or snack with the hosts before returning to the hotel.

As soon as we’ve received the signed agreement back, we can gladly tell you the tour has been booked! Our finance department will now send you the deposit invoice.
