Embark on a 4 day field hockey experience in the heart of Catalonia ( Barcelona), designed to inspire your players both on and off the pitch. We are delighted that you are considering this special journey with us.
We have created a dynamic program that immerses your team in Barcelona’s sporting culture and vibrant city life. On the field, your team will start with a training session led by their own coaches at a local facility, followed by two friendly evening matches against Spanish opposition. A great opportunity to test themselves against a different playing style and gain valuable international experience.
Off the field, the tour showcases the very best of Barcelona. Your group will explore the city by guided bike tour, take part in an authentic paella cooking class with a local chef, and enjoy time for sightseeing and shopping in some of the city’s most iconic areas. This balance between hockey, culture and fun makes the tour both memorable and meaningful for players and staff.

Morning: upon arrival in Barcelona, the group will meet the tour manager and transfer to the accommodation. After check in there is time to settle in, freshen up and recover from the journey before the hockey activities begin.
Afternoon: later in the afternoon, a training session under the lead of own coaches is scheduled at a local hockey venue. This first session helps the players get used to the Spanish conditions, shake off the travel and prepare physically and mentally for the upcoming matches.
Evening: free time at the accommodation to relax, enjoy dinner and have a short team meeting outlining the plans for the next days.
Morning: after breakfast, the group will enjoy a guided bike tour through Barcelona. Cycling past highlights such as the beachfront, the Olympic Port and the historic centre, the team will get a great first impression of the city in an active and fun way, perfect for team bonding.
Afternoon: in the afternoon, the group will take part in a hands on paella cooking class. Under the guidance of a local chef, the players will learn how to prepare an authentic Spanish paella, before sitting down together to enjoy the meal they created.
Evening: in the late afternoon or evening, the team will play their first friendly hockey match against a local Spanish opponent. This fixture offers a valuable opportunity to test themselves against a different style of play and put the previous training into practice. After the match there is time for informal interaction with the hosts before returning to the accommodation.
Morning: after breakfast, the group will head into the city centre for sightseeing in Barcelona. There will be time to explore famous areas such as the Gothic Quarter and Passeig de Gràcia, see some of the city’s main landmarks from the outside and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
Afternoon: the afternoon is reserved for shopping and free time. Players can browse local boutiques and sports stores, pick up souvenirs or relax at a café or on the boulevard, while staff ensure meeting points and timings are clearly agreed. This block of free time also allows for some recovery between the matches.
Evening: in the late afternoon or evening, the team will play their second friendly match against another local club. This game provides further international experience, tactical learning moments and a chance to rotate the squad so all players gain meaningful time on the pitch. After the match, the group returns to the accommodation for a relaxed final evening together.

How does it work (booking process)
Like what you see and wish to contact us? Great! Please do so via below contact information button. We will get back to you asap to determine important details of your preferred tour such as number of persons, travelling dates etc. Following we will send you a quote which is already specified to your preferences.
As soon as all details of the tour have been discussed and you have accepted our quote, we will send you a contractual agreement containing all inclusions of the tour. This agreement needs to be signed by you in order to confirm the tour.
As soon as we’ve received the signed agreement back, we can gladly tell you the tour has been booked! Our finance department will now send you the deposit invoice.
Once you’ve received the invoice, 25% of invoice amount (down payment) needs to be paid within 8 days of invoice date. 75% of invoice amount needs to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
After we have received your down payment, we will start the organizing process. This means our Operations department will contact you to gather the necessary information and make the first arrangements for your team.
