U14/ U19 teams Garden City Panthers from Nigeria in The Netherlands

The Garden City Panthers FC, established in 2013 in Port Harcourt and now thriving in Abuja, Nigeria’s dynamic Federal Capital Territory, is gearing up for an exhilarating adventure. Known for their spirited gameplay, “The Panthers” train at the centrally located M.K.O. Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

In an exciting turn of events, May 2024 will see two of the Panthers’ teams heading to The Netherlands for a memorable football experience. This journey represents not just a trip abroad, but a chance for the club to shine on an international stage. President Robinson Adakosa of the Garden City Panthers expressed immense pride in this endeavor, stating, “We couldn’t be more proud to participate in such high-level academy tournaments. We are here not just to compete, but to win.”

The U14 squad is set to immerse themselves in the vibrant football culture of Den Bosch from May 13th to May 21st. They’ll be competing in the eagerly anticipated second edition of the Den Bosch International Tournament. To gear up for this challenge, they’ll participate in a focused training camp, complete with two friendly matches to hone their skills and teamwork.

At the same time, the U19 team will be making their mark from May 13th to May 23rd at the Karel Stegeman Tournament in Ruurlo. In addition to the tournament, they’ll engage in four friendly matches, offering a balanced mix of competitive play and skill-building opportunities.

Organized by Holland Elite Sports Agency, who are also behind the Den Bosch International Tournament, this trip is a fantastic opportunity for the Garden City Panthers. It’s a chance for the club’s young talent to experience the thrill of international football and to further establish the Panthers as a club with a bright future
