For this basketball tour we have created a compact but intensive program centred around Den Bosch, one of the Netherlands’ most charming southern cities and home of Heroes Den Bosch. Your team will train on local courts, compete in friendly games against Dutch opposition including a fixture in the Heroes environment and attend a professional Heroes Den Bosch home game to experience top-level basketball from the stands.
Beyond the court, the basketball tour includes a full day at De Efteling, the country’s most iconic theme park, where players can relax, have fun and build team spirit away from competition. A guided bike tour through the historic centre of Den Bosch introduces your group to truly Dutch city life, while a full day in Amsterdam offers the chance to explore one of Europe’s most famous capitals.

Morning: upon arrival in the Netherlands, the group will meet the tour manager and transfer by private coach to ’s-Hertogenbosch. The accommodation in Den Bosch will be your comfortable base for the entire stay, well located for all basketball and leisure activities.
Afternoon: check in, settle into the rooms and take some time to relax after the journey. Depending on arrival time, the group can enjoy a short walk into the historic city centre of Den Bosch to get a first impression of the town and its canals.
Morning: after breakfast, the group will head into the centre of Den Bosch for a guided bike tour. Exploring the city by bike is a very Dutch experience and a fun, relaxed way to see the medieval streets, canals and key highlights of the town while staying active as a team.
Afternoon: free time in Den Bosch. Players and staff can enjoy lunch in the city centre, do some shopping, visit the famous St. John’s Cathedral or simply relax back at the hotel. Coaches can use this moment for short video or tactical meetings to prepare for the evening game.
Morning: after breakfast, the group will travel by private coach to De Efteling, the most iconic theme park in the Netherlands. The morning is free to enjoy a wide range of attractions, from fairytale-themed areas to family rides and thrilling roller coasters, with options suitable for all players and staff.
Afternoon: the team continues to explore the park, with plenty of time for group photos, shows and relaxed moments in the fairytale forest or around the lakes. Breaks are built into the day so that players can manage their energy levels while still fully enjoying the Efteling experience.
Morning: today the group will travel by private coach to Amsterdam for a full day in the Dutch capital. In the morning there is time to explore key sights such as the canals, Dam Square or Museumplein, or to enjoy an optional canal cruise to see the city from the water.
Afternoon: the group continues to enjoy Amsterdam with free time for small-group activities. Options include visiting a museum, shopping in the city centre or simply soaking up the atmosphere in one of Europe’s most famous cities. In the late afternoon, the team will transfer to a local basketball venue in the Amsterdam region to prepare for the evening game.
Morning: after breakfast, a short closing session is planned at the hotel. Coaches can share feedback, highlight key learning points and best moments of the basketball tour, and the group can reflect together on the basketball experiences, Heroes Den Bosch encounters and leisure days in Efteling and Amsterdam.
Afternoon: check out of the hotel and transfer by private coach to the airport for the return flight home, concluding an intensive and memorable Dutch basketball tour.

How does it work (booking process)
Like what you see and wish to proceed with booking the tour? Great! We will send you a contractual agreement containing all inclusions of the tour. This agreement needs to be signed by you in order to confirm the tour.
As soon as we’ve received the signed agreement back, we can gladly tell you the tour has been booked! Our finance department will now send you the deposit invoice.
Once you’ve received the invoice, 25% of invoice amount (down payment) needs to be paid within 8 days of invoice date. 75% of invoice amount needs to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
After we have received your down payment, we will start the organizing process. This means our Operations department will contact you to gather the necessary information and make the first arrangements for your team.
