The London Ladies Cup returns in 2026 and once again sets the benchmark for elite U16 girls football. Following a spectacular first edition, the tournament is ready to establish itself as one of the most competitive youth events worldwide. Hosted from 14–16 August 2026 at the prestigious Epsom College in London, the second edition promises an even higher level of international competition.
This year’s line-up already underlines that ambition. Chelsea FC and FC Bayern München have officially secured their places, with two additional UEFA Women’s Champions League academies currently in final negotiations. With a strictly limited field of just 12 teams, the tournament is reserved for programmes with the quality and confidence to challenge Europe’s leading academies and the ambition to perform on an international stage.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the London Ladies Cup continues to support the development of the next generation of elite female footballers. The debut tournament delivered high-intensity matches in a competitive format, supported by outstanding facilities, and laid a strong foundation for future editions. Set against the rapid growth of women’s football in England and across Europe, the London Ladies Cup positions itself as an international platform where top U16 teams can compete at the highest level and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the women’s game.
A Tournament for the Very Best

The tournament featured a competitive group-stage format followed by cross matches and semi-finals, ensuring meaningful matches for every team. Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC both progressed to the final after strong performances throughout the tournament.
In a highly anticipated all-London final, Chelsea FC defeated Arsenal FC 2–0 to become the first-ever champions of the London Ladies Cup. Aston Villa secured third place, completing a strong podium.
