With all 16 places confirmed well in advance, the tournament once again demonstrates the growing international interest in elite youth hockey events organised by Holland Elite.

High-Level Competition on World-Class Water-Based Pitches

Over the course of two days, teams will compete in a format designed to maximise both competition and development. The Holland Elite Hockey Cup begins with four pools of four teams, after which teams move into a knock-out phase where every team continues to compete.

Matches will be played in a 2 x 15-minute format, creating fast-paced and intense games where players are constantly challenged physically and tactically.

All matches take place on top-quality water-based pitches, providing players with an elite playing environment. These are the same facilities used at one of Dutch hockey’s most respected clubs and offer ideal conditions for high-performance youth sport.

The tournament organisation itself includes highly respected names from international hockey, including Raoul Ehren, current coach of the Dutch women’s national team, and Sjoerd Marijne, current head coach of the Indian women’s national team. Their involvement reflects the ambition and professional standards that continue to define Holland Elite events.

A Special Bonus: Dutch Championship Final at HC Den Bosch

As if the weekend was not already packed with elite hockey, participants and supporters are in for something truly special on Monday, 25 May at 12:45.

On the same venue as the Holland Elite Hockey Cup, HC Den Bosch Women will play the Dutch Championship Play-Off Final against Amsterdam. Widely considered the biggest match in Dutch women’s hockey, the return leg of the national championship final adds an incredible extra experience to an already special weekend.

For many visiting players and families, the Holland Elite Hockey Cup provides a unique opportunity to witness world-class hockey up close and experience the atmosphere of one of the biggest matches in the Dutch hockey calendar.

Building on Last Year’s Success

The previous edition of the Holland Elite Hockey Cup created unforgettable memories and set a high benchmark. Hockey Mentors (England) lifted the trophy after defeating HC Den Bosch 1–0 in a thrilling final played in front of packed sidelines.

MHC De Mezen claimed third place, while the atmosphere throughout the tournament demonstrated exactly why the event continues to grow in popularity. The combination of high-quality teams, excellent facilities and a strong international field delivered a weekend that many teams immediately wanted to return to.
