Holland Elite is proud to announce the continued expansion of its partnership with Blue Runnings Sport International (BRSI) from South Africa, following a highly successful first year of international tours and events. After visiting Europe for the first time last year with Holland Elite, BRSI will return once again in 2026, underlining the strength of the collaboration and the positive experiences delivered to athletes, coaches and staff on both sides.

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT ON QUALITY AND TRUST

From the outset, the collaboration between Holland Elite and Blue Runnings Sport International proved to be a strong match. Holland Elite delivered a fully integrated programme, including high-quality training sessions, competitive fixtures, accommodation, logistics and carefully selected cultural activities.
The consistently positive feedback from players, coaches and staff confirmed the success of the tours. As a result, discussions about future projects and long-term cooperation followed quickly. Both organisations have expressed their strong satisfaction with the partnership and their shared ambition to continue building high-level international sports experiences together.

CONFIRMED PLANS AND UPCOMING PROJECTS

Several new initiatives are already confirmed for 2026.
Blue Runnings Sport International will participate in the Holland Elite Hockey Cup U12 in Eindhoven, where teams will once again compete against strong Dutch and international opposition. In football, two teams from Xanadu will return to Salou, Spain, continuing the proven formula of elite training combined with cultural exposure. Players will train under top Spanish coaches, ensuring development at the highest technical and tactical level.

In addition, this September, 18 field hockey teams from Blue Runnings Sport International will travel to the Netherlands and Belgium. These structured tours will focus on development, competition and international experience, with matches scheduled against leading Dutch hockey clubs. The programme is designed to challenge athletes at the highest level and provide invaluable exposure to elite hockey environments.

In total, 21 teams will travel to Europe as part of the 2026 collaboration.

A STRONG FIRST YEAR IN HOCKEY AND FOOTBALL

Last year marked BRSI’s first European tours with Holland Elite, spanning both the Netherlands and Spain. In the Netherlands, field hockey teams competed against some of the country’s strongest youth sides, gaining high-level international match experience in one of the world’s most competitive hockey landscapes.
Across the tours, 12 teams participated, with 36 competitive matches successfully organised within a single week. This intensive schedule highlighted Holland Elite’s operational strength, logistical precision and ability to deliver consistent quality across multiple locations.

These tours perfectly reflect Holland Elite’s philosophy: combining elite-level sport with international exposure and unforgettable experiences.

Holland Elite will once again manage every aspect of the upcoming tours.
