After a highly successful three editions that featured 48 teams from various countries, we’re thrilled to invite your team to the fourth edition of the Holland Elite Hockey Cup U14 for girls. On behalf of Sjoerd Marijne (FIH Coach of the Year 2021) and Raoul Ehren (14 national championships with HC Den Bosch and current Coach of Dutch women’s national team), we extend this invitation for your team to compete on the 24th and 25 th of  May, 2026.

WELCOME TO THE FOURTH EDITION OF THE HOLLAND ELITE HOCKEY CUP

 

Age Category, Dispensation & Age Control
This U14 girls’ tournament accepts players born after 01.10.2011. We do offer dispensation for up to 3 players who are one year over the age limit, but only a maximum of 2 can play simultaneously. Age verification will be conducted throughout the tournament at various points, based on your arrival.

Matches
Matches will consist of 2 halves of 15 minutes each. All teams are set to play 6 matches in the span of 3 days, on our water based pitches.

Who May Participate
Our tournament is a top-level competition. Teams participating should be from the highest or second highest level of their country. We do not accept lower level teams in our tournament.

Number of Teams in the Tournament
We can only allow 16 girls Hockeyteams in the Den Bosch International Tournament. Our goal is to have 4 groups of 4 teams. Every group has a top team.

When Does the Registration Open
Preregistration is currently open for everyone. If you are interested, please fill out the PRE-REGISTRATION form below. We aim to finalize the tournament lineup by the end of February 2026.

Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided at 4-star hotels in the Den Bosch region. Options include single, twin, triple, and quadruple rooms. Please note that quadruple rooms are only available at one hotel. We will consider your hotel preference, but the final decision will be ours.

Transfers (Airport & Tournament)
Prices do not include transfers. If required, your team can book an airport transfer as well as tournament transfers. Please be advised that tournament hotels are not located within walking distance from the tournament venues, making transfers necessary.

Extra Nights
We offer tournament packages for stays of 1 and 2 nights. Should your team be interested in staying longer, we can assist with that. Previous teams have extended their stay for tournament preparation, with custom packages including training sessions and friendly matches.

Payment
Upon booking, teams will receive 2 invoices. The first one, covering 25% of the total booking amount, is due within 8 days of the invoice date. The second payment, covering the remaining 75% of the total booking amount, should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellation
Due to the high level of our tournaments, team cancellations within the last 3 months are not accepted, meaning all fees paid are non-refundable.

Insurance
Teams are expected to arrange their own insurance.

Tournament Rules

  1. Rules
  • The tournament will be played in accordance with the KNHB rules.
  1. Tournament format
  • The U12 girls will play a minimum of 5 matches in 2 days.
  • All teams in the group will play against the other teams of the same group in a qualifying Playoff round.
  • Each game won results in 3 points.
  • Each game tied results in 1 points.
  • Each game lost results in 0 points.
  • If at the end of the Playoff round classification, two or more teams have summed the same number of points, the classification of one or the other team shall be determined in the following manner:
  1. Result of the game between the tied teams. If more than two teams tied, the points of the matches played between them are counted;
  2. Overall goal difference, both in favor and against;
  3. Greater number of goals scored;
  4. The least goals received;
  5. Fair play (fewer cards received. The sum of the cards will be measured the following way: yellow card=1, red card=2);
  6. Tossing a coin.
  • If two or more teams have an equal score in the group, the most wins will decide who the winner is. If that is also equal the goal balance will point out the winner. When this is also equal the team with most scored goals wins. When no winner can be appointed, each team will take 3 shoot-outs by different players. Followed by shoot-outs taken by turn, until the decision is made.
  • Shoot-outs will be taken according to the Dutch shoot-out regulations.
  • Before each shoot-out, each trainer will hand in a list with 5 players in the right order towards the referee.
  1. Tournament program
  • The group stage will be played on the 24th of May 2026.
  • The final and the rest of the final classification matches will be played on the 25th of May.
  1. Game time
  • The duration of the games is 2×15 minutes.
  • When a game in the cross final ends equal each team will take 3 shoot-outs by different players. Followed by shoot-outs taken by turn, until the decision is made.
  1. Players information / Substitutions
  • When a player receives a green card he/she has a penalty of 2 minutes. He/she is not allowed on the bench of the team, the referee will appoint a place on the penalty bench.
  • If a player receives a yellow card during a game he/she has a penalty of 5 minutes. He/she is not allowed on the bench of the team, the referee will appoint a place on the penalty bench.
  • If a player receives a second yellow card during a game he/she must leave the game immediately and sit out the next game that the team has to play.
  • Any player who receives a red card during a game must leave the game immediately and will sit out the next game that the team has to play.
  • When a player receives two yellow cards during the tournament he/she needs to sit out the next game that the team has to play.
  1. Referees
  • All referees and assistant referees will be assigned by the Organizing Committee.
  1. Reclamations
  • Any sports claim may be submitted in writing to the Organizing Committee within 30 minutes after the match in question.
  • Claims on arbitration errors cannot modify the outcome of the match.
  • The decision of the Organizing Committee is final and irrevocable.
  1. Equipment
  • All the teams must bring both their home and their away kit duly numbered to the tournament.
  • In case of matching uniforms, it will be the visiting team (named in second place) which has to change the kit.
  • The referee shall have final say on colour conflicts.
  • Each player will have the same number, on both the home and away kit, and must maintain it throughout the tournament.
  1. Required paperwork in each match
  • All the participating teams need to hand in, before the tournament starts, a list with the full names, date of birth and the rear number of each player, at the tournament committee.
  • No match will start without the field manager having the lists of players.
  1. Punctuality
  • All teams must be standing next to the field, at the side of the field manager, at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the match.
  • Each team is committed to let the game start on time. If a team is not available within 5 minutes of the stated time the opponent will be called out as the winner. The final score will be 3-0.
  1. Pitches / Material
  • All games will be played on water based pitches.
  • The tournament will be played with a ball provided by the organization.
  1. Modification
  • Any circumstance that has not been reflected in the regulations is exclusive competence of the Organizing Committee, being their final decision, reserving the right to add, interpret, modify and apply the rules according to their criteria and the needs of the tournament.
  1. Information
    • In case of doubts or questions refer to the Organizing Committee of the tournament.
    • The Organizing Committee is not responsible for the missing of (personal) belongings.
    • In situations and circumstances, where the aforementioned rules don’t provide in, the Organizing Committee will decide. The decision of the Organizing Committee is final and irrevocable.
